The life expectancy of the
submersible pump depends on
different factors, such as quality,
electrical supply/voltage of the pump,
and for how many hours it will be used.
On average, for a residential 3-wire submersible pump ,
the shelf-life is 10-15 years, and for a
2-wire pump, it's 8-13 years.
Dry running of the pump can
damage the mechanical seal and the motor.
For this reason, the float switches
should be arranged so that the fill
level in the shaft does not fall below
the minimum level required to operate the pump.

In many places wells provide a reliable andS
ample supply of water for home uses,
irrigation, and industries. Where surface water
is scarce, such as in deserts, people couldn't
survive and thrive without groundwater,
and people use wells to get at underground water.
ubmersibles are usually installed below the water
level in a well but can be installed in a lake, cistern or river.
Surface pumps are usually mounted above the water
level which requires a suction lift, the distance between
the water level and the inlet of the pump. A method of
transferring water from the well or borehole into storage
tanks will be necessary when you're done
When it comes to this job, submersible pumps
are the best choice. Pumping water from great
depths doesn't strain their efficiency because they
don't use a lot of power. The boreholes themselves
are generally much narrower and deeper than a
traditional well as a result of modern techniques.
Due to the increased depth, a water borehole can
provide a consistent and reliable source of water.
